Environmental Design Studies is the required first-year program of the professional degrees offered in the AP-Design. This option leads to an accredited master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, Landscape Architecture, or Regional and Community Planning. The first year Environmental Design Studies program provides an introduction to a way of seeing and thinking about the environments we occupy. The studio introduces the visual and verbal vocabulary employed in the creation, definition and communication of space.
