Park University, located in Parkville, Missouri, is a private liberal arts institution known for its historic charm and student-focused approach to education. TRANSFER ADMISSION PROCEDURES/QUALIFICATIONS

Application:

  • Apply online to complete the Park University admission application.
  • Application fee waiver code JCCC can be used to avoid paying the $35 application fee.
  • Request official transcripts from ALL previous post-secondary schools to be sent to the Office of the Registrar.

International Students:

  • Application fee is $75. Contact International Education at 816-584-6820 for additional information/documents required.

Readmit Students:

  • Students who have previously attended Park and have not attended within 2 years and seek readmission must fill out a readmission application for readdmission. Contact the Office of Admissions for questions.

Transfer Qualifications:

  • Submit official college transcript for Admissions review.
  • Some degree programs require a higher cumulative GPA for admission into their department (Education, Nursing, Social Work).
  • Students who have earned fewer than 23 hours from a regionally accredited school will need to submit H.S. transcripts.

ACT/SAT Scores:

  • Not required for admission. Some programs may require these scores.

Transfer Evaluation:

  • The Registrar's Office will complete an official evaluation once all previous official post-secondary transcripts are received.

Campus Visits:

  • Call the Office of Admissions at 816-746-2533 to set up a visit during the week and to ask about available weekend visits.

Degree requirements at the four-year colleges are subject to change by those institutions. To ensure you have the most accurate information about the program, you must meet with an advisor at the transfer institution. 

TUITION/FEES/EXPENSES

Tuition and Fees:

  • $8,500 per semester for undergraduate students.
  • $575 per credit hour for online students. 
  • $250 per credit hour for Active Duty Military (Active Duty, Active Duty Dependents, Reservists and National Guard).
  • Charges do not include lab or technology fees.

Room and Board:

  •  Price varies depending on assigned Residence Hall and meal plan choice.

Books:

  • Cost varies by course.

Additional Expenses:

  • Miscellaneous expenses for travel, social activities, extra meals, etc. vary depending upon student.
