Admission RequirementsTransfer Admission ProcessStudents who hold an Associate of Arts Degree from JCCC are considered to have fulfilled all UCM General Education requirements, except:

Application deadline: Rolling. Priority deadline = April 1 for summer/fall; Nov. 1 for spring. Campus Visits:Students are invited to visit campus any day of the week at 9:00 am or Noon. Special visit days are also available. All visits can be scheduled through UCM Admissions. Enrollment:Newly admitted transfers will enroll with an academic advisor. Orientation consists of a virtual orientation program (VOP) and/or an on-campus orientation session. CostAcademic Fees:Missouri Resident-Warrensburg: $297.00 per credit hour Lee’s Summit/Online: $297.00 per credit hour Non-Resident: $594.00 per credit hour UCM BOUND Out-of-State Scholarship:University of Central Missouri will allow students from contiguous states, and South Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Texas to pay the equivalent of in-state fees. To qualify, complete an undergraduate application for admission indicating your state of residence. Housing:Residence halls: $3,394 per semester double occupancy. UCM has a two-year residency requirement. This means that new transfer students who have less than 48 earned accepted hours or are not 21 or older by the first day of classes are required to live on campus. If you believe you qualify for an exemption based on another factor, including military status, family status, or housing arrangements with a parent or grandparent within 50 miles of Warrensburg, visit the University Housing for an exemption form. Meal Plan:Range from $2,076 - $2,375 per semester with three plans to choose from. Books:Approximately $600 per semester. GPA Calculation:Calculation of GPA for the bachelor’s degree includes grades from course work completed at UCM and transfer credit. Pass/Fail:Not acceptable for general education courses or courses in major. “D” Grades:“D” grades will be posted and will be included in GPA.
