Admission RequirementsAdmission Requirements: To be eligible for participation in Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences “NHS” program, JCCC students must graduate from the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program at JCCC. After this eligibility standard has been met, a student must apply to NHS. NHS’s admission requirements will be applicable. NHS will offer provisional acceptance to graduates from the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program at JCCC while the candidate completes NCLEX and is able to produce an active nursing license, not to exceed the first semester of courses. Transfer of Credits: NHS will receive credits as presented in the NHS-JCCC Articulation Table on page 2, in recognition of students’ previous coursework from the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program from JCCC. Transcript evaluations will be completed. In addition, if any student has completed coursework at another institution of higher education, those transcripts will be evaluated as well for potential eligibility of transfer credits (if applicable). Graduation Requirements: Once a student has been accepted into the Program, a minimum of 30 mandatory NHS RN-BSN credit hours remain to complete the Program at NHS and graduate. Total number of required credits a student will have earned for their BSN degree is 120 credit hours.
It is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to check for updates to all transfer information. This transfer guide is provided as a service and is updated as needed. Degree requirements at the four-year colleges are subject to change by those institutions. To ensure you have the most accurate information about the program, you must meet with an advisor at the transfer institution.
