This course provides a general introduction to artificial intelligence (AI) for any student. Students will learn milestones in the history of AI, explore the basics of how modern generative AI tools operate, practice prompt engineering techniques to maximize the quality of AI output, engage in hands-on activities that apply AI to real-world applications, and examine the ethical issues surrounding these tools and their output.
