Program Description
This guide serves as a Concurrent Enrollment Pathway (CEP) Agreement between Johnson County Community College’s Department of Nursing of an Associate Degree in Nursing to Grand Canyon University RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (ADN to BSN and ADN to BSN (LPN Track)).
This agreement includes that GCU will offer a scholarship rate of $250 a credit hour for the courses required to complete the CEP which is a reduction in the undergraduate tuition, to online and local cohort students who are concurrently enrolled in JCCC’s Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program and GCU’s RN to BSN – CEP program.

- GCU Residency Requirement: Undergraduate students must complete at least 30 semester credits of course work in a Grand Canyon University program to satisfy residency requirements.
- Upper Division Credit Requirement: For a baccalaureate degree, a student must earn a minimum of 36 semester credits in upper division (300 or above) courses.
- GCU General Education Requirements (May be taken at GCU or substituted through course equivalency): MAT-144 College Mathematics (4 credits) and BIO-319 Applied Nutrition (4 credits). Recommended elective coursework to fulfill baccalaureate requirements for graduation (120 credit hours): UNV-103 University Foundations (online) and CWV-101 Christian Worldview (online).
- The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Grand Canyon University requires a minimum of 120 hours for graduation.
